Nomenclatural History	The species Blastobacter denitrificans was originally described by Hirsch and Müller 1985. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 20 in 1986. In 2006, Van Berkum et al. established Blastobacter denitrificans as the basonym of Bradyrhizobium denitrificans (Hirsch and Müller 1986) Van Berkum et al. 2011 .
