Nomenclatural History
|
The genus Ancalomicrobium was originally proposed by Staley 1968. This name appeared on the Approved Lists of Bacterial Names 1980. Staley published an emended description of this genus in 1974. A subsequent emendation was proposed by Dahal et al. in 2018.
