Nomenclatural History
|
The species Ralstonia solanacearum was originally described by Yabuuchi et al. 1995. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 57 in 1996. Safni et al. published an emended description of this species in 2014. Yabuuchi et al. formed this name in 1995 by placing the species
Burkholderia solanacearum (Smith 1896) Yabuuchi et al. 1993
into the genus Ralstonia Yabuuchi et al. 1996.
