Nomenclatural History
The species Wautersia eutropha was originally described and validly published by Vaneechoutte et al. 2004. Vaneechoutte et al. formed this name in 2004 by placing the species (Davis et al. 1969) Yabuuchi et al. 1996 into the genus Vaneechoutte et al. 2004. Vandamme and Coenye established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of Makkar and Casida 1987 in 2004.
