Nomenclatural History	The species Wautersia oxalatica was originally described and validly published by Vaneechoutte et al. 2004. In 2004, Vandamme and Coenye established Wautersia oxalatica as the basonym of Cupriavidus oxalaticus (Sahin et al. 2000) Vandamme and Coenye 2004 . Vaneechoutte et al. formed this name in 2004 by placing the species Ralstonia oxalatica (ex Khambata and Bhat 1953) Sahin et al. 2000 into the genus Wautersia Vaneechoutte et al. 2004.
