Nomenclatural History	The species Wautersia paucula was originally described and validly published by Vaneechoutte et al. 2004. In 2004, Vandamme and Coenye established Wautersia paucula as the basonym of Cupriavidus pauculus (Vandamme et al. 1999) Vandamme and Coenye 2004 . Vaneechoutte et al. formed this name in 2004 by placing the species Ralstonia paucula Vandamme et al. 1999 into the genus Wautersia Vaneechoutte et al. 2004.
