Nomenclatural History
|
The genus Massilia was originally proposed by La Scola et al. 1998. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 73 in 2000. Kämpfer et al. published an emended description of this genus in 2011. A subsequent emendation was proposed by Singh et al. in 2015.
