Nomenclatural History
The species Achromobacter piechaudii was originally described by Yabuuchi et al. 1998. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 67 in 1998. Yabuuchi et al. formed this name in 1998 by placing the species Kiredjian et al. 1986 into the genus Yabuuchi and Yano 1981 emend. Yabuuchi et al. 1998.
