Nomenclatural History
The species Achromobacter ruhlandii was originally described by Yabuuchi et al. 1998. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 67 in 1998. Vandamme et al. published an emended description of this species in 2013. Yabuuchi et al. formed this name in 1998 by placing the species (Packer and Vishniac 1955) Aragno and Schlegel 1977 (Approved Lists 1980) into the genus Yabuuchi and Yano 1981 emend. Yabuuchi et al. 1998.
