Nomenclatural History	The species Delftia acidovorans was originally described and validly published by Wen et al. 1999. Wen et al. formed this name in 1999 by placing the species Comamonas acidovorans (den Dooren de Jong 1926) Tamaoka et al. 1987 emend. Willems et al. 1991 into the genus Delftia Wen et al. 1999.
