Nomenclatural History
The genus Diaphorobacter was originally proposed by Khan and Hiraishi 2002. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 92 in 2003. Kim et al. published an emended description of this genus in 2014. A subsequent emendation was proposed by Wei et al. in 2015.
