Nomenclatural History
The species Schlegelella thermodepolymerans was originally described and validly published by Elbanna et al. 2003. Lüke-Eversloh et al. published an emended description of this species in 2004. Lüke-Eversloh et al. established this name as an earlier heterotypic synonym of Manaia et al. 2003 in 2004.
