Nomenclatural History
The species Thiobacillus concretivorus was originally described by Parker 1945. This name appeared on the Approved Lists of Bacterial Names 1980. Kelly and Wood established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of Waksman and Joffe 1922 (Approved Lists 1980) in 2000. In 2019, Boden and Hutt established as the basonym of (Parker 1945) Boden and Hutt 2021 .
