Nomenclatural History
|
The order Neisseriales was originally proposed by Tønjum 2005. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 107 in 2006. Adeolu and Gupta published an emended description of this order in 2013. A subsequent emendation was proposed by Chen et al. in 2021.
