Nomenclatural History	The species Iodobacter fluviatilis was originally described and validly published by Logan 1989. Euzéby corrected this name from Iodobacter fluviatile (sic) to Iodobacter fluviatilis . Logan formed this name in 1989 by placing the species Chromobacterium fluviatile Moss et al. 1981 into the genus Iodobacter Logan 1989.
