Nomenclatural History
|
The species Microvirgula aerodenitrificans was originally described and validly published by Patureau et al. 1998. Cleenwerck et al. published an emended description of this species in 2003. Cleenwerck et al. established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of
Aquaspirillum dispar Hylemon et al. 1973 (Approved Lists 1980)
in 2003.
