Nomenclatural History
|
The family Gallionellaceae was originally proposed by Henrici and Johnson 1935. This name appeared on the Approved Lists of Bacterial Names 1980. Boden et al. published an emended description of this family in 2017. A subsequent emendation was proposed by Kojima et al. in 2021.
