Nomenclatural History
|
The genus Rheinheimera was originally proposed and validly published by Brettar et al. 2002. Merchant et al. published an emended description of this genus in 2007. Subsequent emendations were proposed by Chen et al. in 2010, Li et al. in 2011, Liu et al. in 2012, Sisinthy et al. in 2017, Hayashi et al. in 2018 and Sheu et al. in 2018.
