Nomenclatural History
|
The species Ectothiorhodospira marismortui was originally described by Oren et al. 1989. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 32 in 1990. Ventura et al. established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of
Ectothiorhodospira mobilis Pelsh 1936 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Ventura et al. 2000
in 2000.
