Nomenclatural History

The genus Schineria was originally proposed and validly published by Tóth et al. 2001. Tóth et al. replaced this illegitimate name with
Ignatzschineria Tóth et al. 2007
in 2007.
The name Schineria was illegitimate, because of precedence of the zoological genus name Schineria Rondani, 1857.
