Nomenclatural History
|
The species Deleya aesta was originally described and validly published by Baumann et al. 1983. Baumann et al. formed this name in 1983 by placing the species
Alcaligenes aestus Baumann et al. 1972 (Approved Lists 1980)
into the genus Halomonas Vreeland et al. 1980 emend. Dobson and Franzmann 1996. Tindall established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of
Alcaligenes aquamarinus (ZoBell and Upham 1944) Hendrie et al. 1974 (Approved Lists 1980)
in 2003. Tindall established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of
Alcaligenes faecalis homari Austin et al. 1981
in 2003.
