Nomenclatural History
The species Deleya cupida was originally described and validly published by Baumann et al. 1983. Baumann et al. formed this name in 1983 by placing the species Baumann et al. 1972 (Approved Lists 1980) into the genus Vreeland et al. 1980 emend. Dobson and Franzmann 1996. In 1996, Dobson and Franzmann established as the basonym of (Baumann et al. 1972) Dobson and Franzmann 1996 .
