Nomenclatural History
The species Pseudomonas asplenii was originally described by Savulescu 1947. This name appeared on the Approved Lists of Bacterial Names 1980. Tvrzová et al. published an emended description of this species in 2006. A subsequent emendation was proposed by Tohya et al. in 2020.
