The subspecies Pseudomonas avenae konjaci was originally described and validly published by Hu et al. 1991. Hu et al. formed this name in 1991 by placing the subspecies
Pseudomonas pseudoalcaligenes konjaci Goto 1983
into the species Pseudomonas avenae Manns 1909 (Approved Lists 1980). Willems et al. elevated this subspecies to the rank of species to form the name
Acidovorax konjaci (Goto 1983) Willems et al. 1992
in 1992.
