Nomenclatural History

The species Pseudomonas cedrina was originally described by Dabboussi et al. 1999. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 87 in 2002. This name was affected by Judicial Opinion 81 in 2008. Upon validation, this name was corrected from Pseudomonas cedrella (sic) to Pseudomonas cedrina . Behrendt et al. published an emended description of this species in 2009. In 2009, Behrendt et al. reduced this species to the rank of subspecies to form
