The species Pseudomonas ficuserectae was originally described and validly published by Goto 1983. Gardan et al. established this name as an earlier heterotypic synonym of
Pseudomonas savastanoi (Janse 1982) Gardan et al. 1992
in 1999. Gardan et al. established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of
Pseudomonas amygdali Psallidas and Panagopoulos 1975 (Approved Lists 1980)
in 1999. Gardan et al. established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of
Pseudomonas meliae Ogimi 1981
in 1999.
