The species Pseudomonas huttiensis was originally described by Leifson 1962. This name appeared on the Approved Lists of Bacterial Names 1980. In 2004, Ding and Yokota established as the basonym of (Leifson 1962) Ding and Yokota 2004 emend. Dobritsa et al. 2010 .
