Nomenclatural History
The species Pseudomonas jessenii was originally described by Verhille et al. 1999. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 70 in 1999. Kosina et al. published an emended description of this species in 2013. In 2013, Kosina et al. reduced this species to the rank of subspecies to form (Verhille et al. 1999) Kosina et al. 2013 .
