Nomenclatural History
The genus Chryseomonas was originally proposed and validly published by Holmes et al. 1986. Holmes et al. published an emended description of this genus in 1987. Anzai et al. established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of Migula 1894 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Yang et al. 2013 in 1997.
