Nomenclatural History

The genus Flavimonas was originally proposed and validly published by Holmes et al. 1987. Anzai et al. established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of
Pseudomonas Migula 1894 (Approved Lists 1980) emend. Yang et al. 2013
in 1997.
