Nomenclatural History	The species Acinetobacter haemolyticus was originally described by Stenzel and Mannheim 1963. It pre-dated the Approved Lists of Bacterial Names but was excluded from those lists. In 1986 the name was revived and validly published by Bouvet and Grimont.
