Nomenclatural History
The genus Pseudoalteromonas was originally proposed and validly published by Gauthier et al. 1995. Ivanova et al. published an emended description of this genus in 2002. Subsequent emendations were proposed by Hwang et al. in 2016 and Beurmann et al. in 2017.
