Nomenclatural History	The species Pseudoalteromonas denitrificans was originally described and validly published by Gauthier et al. 1995. Gauthier et al. formed this name in 1995 by placing the species Alteromonas denitrificans Enger et al. 1987 into the genus Pseudoalteromonas Gauthier et al. 1995 emend. Beurmann et al. 2017.
