Nomenclatural History
The species Vibrio logei was originally described by Baumann et al. 1980. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 6 in 1981. Baumann et al. formed this name in 1980 by placing the species (ex Bang et al. 1978) Harwood et al. 1980 into the genus Pacini 1854 emend. Shewan and Veron 1974 (Approved Lists 1980). In 2007, Urbanczyk et al. established as the basonym of (Harwood et al. 1980) Urbanczyk et al. 2007 .
