Nomenclatural History
|
The species Vibrio shilonii was originally described and validly published by Kushmaro et al. 2001. List Editor corrected this name from Vibrio shiloi (sic) to Vibrio shilonii . Thompson et al. established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of
Vibrio mediterranei Pujalte and Garay 1986
in 2001.
