Nomenclatural History
The species Vibrio tubiashii was originally described and validly published by Hada et al. 1984. Prado et al. published an emended description of this species in 2015. A subsequent emendation was proposed by Dubert et al. in 2016. In 2015, Prado et al. reduced this species to the rank of subspecies to form (Hada et al. 1984) Prado et al. 2016 .
