Nomenclatural History
|
The species Catenococcus thiocycli was originally described by Sorokin 1992. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 51 in 1994. Trüper and De' Clari corrected this name from Catenococcus thiocyclus (sic) to Catenococcus thiocycli .
