Nomenclatural History	The species Listonella anguillarum was originally described by MacDonell and Colwell 1985. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 20 in 1986. Upon validation, this name was corrected from Listonella anguillara (sic) to Listonella anguillarum . MacDonell and Colwell formed this name in 1985 by placing the species Vibrio anguillarum Bergeman 1909 (Approved Lists 1980) into the genus Listonella MacDonell and Colwell 1986.
