Nomenclatural History	The species Escherichia vulneris was originally described by Brenner et al. 1982. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 10 in 1983. In 2017, Alnajar and Gupta established Escherichia vulneris as the basonym of Pseudescherichia vulneris (Brenner et al. 1983) Alnajar and Gupta 2017 .
