Nomenclatural History
The species Enterobacter asburiae was originally described by Brenner et al. 1986. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 25 in 1988. Hoffmann et al. published an emended description of this species in 2005. Sutton et al. established this name as an earlier heterotypic synonym of Kämpfer et al. 2015 in 2018.
