Nomenclatural History
The species Erwinia uredovora was originally described by Dye 1963. This name appeared on the Approved Lists of Bacterial Names 1980. Mergaert et al. established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of corrig. Serrano 1928 (Approved Lists 1980) in 1993.
