Nomenclatural History	The species Klebsiella ornithinolytica was originally described by Sakazaki et al. 1989. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 31 in 1989. In 2001, Drancourt et al. established Klebsiella ornithinolytica as the basonym of Raoultella ornithinolytica (Sakazaki et al. 1989) Drancourt et al. 2001 .
