Nomenclatural History
The species Photorhabdus temperata was originally described and validly published by Fischer-Le Saux et al. 1999. Machado et al. published an emended description of this species in 2018. In 2008, Tóth and Lakatos reduced this species to the rank of subspecies to form (Fischer-Le Saux et al. 1999) Tóth and Lakatos 2008 .
