Nomenclatural History
The subspecies Salmonella choleraesuis arizonae was originally described by Le Minor et al. 1982. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 18 in 1985. This name was placed onto the nomina taxorum rejicienda by Judicial Opinion 80 in 2005. Farmer corrected this name from (sic) to .
