Nomenclatural History	The species Serratia quinivorans was originally described and validly published by Ashelford et al. 2002. Upon validation, this name was corrected from Serratia quinovora (sic) to Serratia quinivorans . Ashelford et al. elevated the subspecies Serratia proteamaculans quinovora Grimont et al. 1983 to the rank of species to form this name in 2002.
