Nomenclatural History

The species Xenorhabdus japonica was originally described by Nishimura et al. 1994. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 54 in 1995. Euzeby and Boemare corrected this name from Xenorhabdus japonicus (sic) to Xenorhabdus japonica .
