The species Natrialba magadii was originally described and validly published by Kamekura et al. 1997. Kamekura et al. formed this name in 1997 by placing the species Tindall et al. 1984 into the genus Kamekura and Dyall-Smith 1996 emend. Oren et al. 2009.
