Nomenclatural History
The species Actinobacillus pleuropneumoniae was originally described and validly published by Pohl et al. 1983. Pohl et al. formed this name in 1983 by placing the species Shope 1964 (Approved Lists 1980) into the genus Brumpt 1910 emend. Phillips 1974 (Approved Lists 1980).
