Nomenclatural History
|
The species Desulfovibrio acrylicus was originally described by van der Maarel et al. 1996. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 60 in 1997. Shivani et al. established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of
Desulfovibrio desulfuricans aestuarii Postgate and Campbell 1966 (Approved Lists 1980)
in 2017.
