Nomenclatural History
|
The species Desulfurococcus mobilis was originally described by Zillig et al. 1982. This name became validly published when it appeared on Validation List No. 10 in 1983. Perevalova et al. established this name as a later heterotypic synonym of
Desulfurococcus mucosus Zillig et al. 1983 emend. Perevalova et al. 2016
in 2016.
